As a member of "Folk Alley", I was able to get this song played when they asked paid members to nominate their fave songs. (Folk Alley basically never plays TSwift). Yes, you absolutely, positively for a certain have to watch the Long Pond movie. In the meantime, here is another performance from the movie, just in case you don't want to do a reaction to the entire movie. If you know this song well enough, and you place close attention, you will hear a slight change - an extra line - that is amazingly beautiful and should have been included on the album version. i watched this video and i liked it. i've done the same with some of your other videos, but i have a bone to pick. i think people have had and continue to have a serious lack of understanding about the academy awards, whether it be grammy or oscar. these are peer voted awards, they're not entirely based solely on revenue or charts or popularity or purity to a genre. many times, the nominees are also voting members. everyone hates these awards when they "snub" their favorite and celebrate when their favorite gets the trophy. grow up already. there's hundreds of nominees every year and only a few dozen winners. 🙅‍♂

The problem with doing reaction videos WITHOUT seeing the movie first is that you completely miss the message of both the story and the songs. Nowhere does she sing anything about being enough on her own, the line is "You are the one you,ve been waiting for all of your life" in other words she doesn't need to look for anyone else but she needs to step into the "part", she was born for, and what that is you would know if you saw the movie first. The entire movie is about working together, finding your place in life, making difficult choices and shows that you are always stronger when you help each other and also that if you look deep inside you, you are stronger than you think. See the movie and soooo much of that song will be totally different for you. So my overall advice to you and everyone else making reaction videos to songs, music, dances or scenes from movies or plays PLEASE see the entire piece before you react to it. Because most of "Show Yourself" is completely lost if you see it without the backstory in the entire movie (after all this is in the very end of the movie where the rest of the story comes to, at least a partial, conclusion and to see it as stand alone makes you loose practically ALL OF THE MOVIES MESSAGES and then you can't do the movie, the song, the composers, the orchestra or the singer justice and might as well skip the whole thing.

The fact that you got hung up on focal point really pisses me off dude it feels like you're reaching for straws like shut the hell up and watch the video you made it two lines in and it's 2 minutes and 41 seconds into the video

English-speakers are missing out because the English subtitles are not turned on (example: "should I take it up an octave?"). The Norwegian dialog is precious. Angelina is not directing the band, she is just interacting and consulting with the band members, especially the piano player.
